Delmar DustPan: A Day In The Garden
I created this blog so I could continue to provide a place where people could discuss educational issues freely.
My name is Kim Williams and I am a parent with two children in a Red Clay school and I was elected to the Red Clay School Board this year. I started a blog called Fix Red Clay about 1 1/2 years ago with another parent, Anne O'Malia. Anne decided it was time to move on and I wanted to continue, so I started Red Clay Now.
I hope you will continue to visit this site. I welcome any ideas or suggestions.
You can email me at redclaynow@comcast.net.

I'll believe it when I see it happen. It sounds good, but until change actually happens I can't get excited or assured. All that I can hope is that the new so called (blueprint) being sent to congress this Wednesday is taken seriously. Obama wants big changes in education regulations because he sees the writing on the wall. But will congress? If there is change, we can all forget about NCLB and RTTT. I think officials are now seeing we have to go back to basics in our educational system.
